Noise from motor on first day of install

See if you can pinpoint where the noise is coming from. Then if you want open that valve cover, pull the fuel fuse, and turn the engine over and see if you can pinpoint the noisy area.
For me, I heard this clicking and it turns out when I would put my finger on the rocker and have someone turn the motor over, I could feel the rocker pop (click) every revolution
My lifter had spun!
But that is the worse case, it could be spring, valve, pushrod, etc...yeah have someone who knows their **** look it over...

Hydraulic roller cams do not require a breakin procedure like flat tappet cams.
In an earlier reply further up, I've already stated that the camshaft is least
likely to be at fault.
I'm thinking valvetrain - specifically pre-load/lash.
