Default Lets make my car fast!

1999 Z28 M6
Borla Catback
Lid & K&Ns

Now granted, this car moves a whole lot better then the 2004 civic ex that I used to drive (dont hate me! it was me and my sisters!) However fast is never fast enough. Without ripping the whole motor apart to do a cam swap or heads or anything, what is a good bang for your buck upgrade? electric cutout for when i wanna go faster? CAI? ALL of the free mods? I ask as a noobie, and am looking for a veterans opinion. Thanks guys!

Also, If you have a suggestion can you post what it would cost to setup? Cars are just a hobby to me and I have a hard time justifying a TON of cash in my car

Pacesetter Long Tubes or Hooker Longtube Headers
OffRoad Ypipe for Longtube Headers (no cats)
Ported Factory Throttle Body w/ Coolant Bypass (freemod)

And if ur car is an AUTO then a stall converter and a shift kit would really wake your car up more than anything.

Headers and y-pipe will run you about $400 and $150 shipped.

I think stall's are around $800, although I'm not sure on that.

If your going to get a stall wait and get one on the for sale board for liek 250-350 or get a tci stall they are around 350-550 new. I just got a stall (and installed it about half hour ago) for 250 shipped on the boards.

too bad my engine is ripped apart for my cam install or i would tell you how it drives =)

Definately a set of headers like the Pacesetters & a good catback or maybe a cutout. We are currently offering Pacesetter headers & a y pipe for coated for 500 or uncoated for 400!!

You might also listen to these guys on a converter, converters typically drop your 60' alot & make the car alot more fun to drive
