Default Help!!! Oil leak

I pulled my trans to fix what appeared to be a rear main leak on my brand new APE 382. Turns out its not the rear main. As far as I can tell the oil is coming from the Flywheel bolts holes. Whats wrong with my crank.

Double check the leak, my bud that just installed a FMS 408 stroker was told that he had a rear main seal leaking..... after we removed the tranny we discovered that the plug in the front of the M6 had backed itself out anf it was actually tranny fluid that was leaking all worked out for the best

I just went out and checked again. Its coming from the flywheel bolt holes and possible the pilot bearing hole. Do Eagle cranks use a plug like GM cranks??

Turns out the flywheel bolts on eagle cranks are supposed to have thread sealant/ or locktite on them. I used molylube or the ARP bolts.

There is a freeze plug on the crank that could be a source of oil leak. The one on my lunati popped out at the track and blew lots of oil out. I am not familar with the eagle crank, but if the flywheel hole went all the way through they could also be a source of leaks. May try using some teflon tape or silicone on the bolts to seal it up.

What crank do you have?/

Well I found the leaks. First there has to be thread sealnt on the flywheel bolts and second my crank plug is not is straight.
Have to call Eagle Monday to get a plug or see if an OEM will fit.

Mine was a 1" freeze plug that I picked up at kragen for a 1 dollar. Nothing special about it.
