Default Porting and polishing stock heads worth it?

Or should I just buy new heads?

Default porting

Buy the AFR 205's, they will probably complement your combination the best.

I think your best off with a set of ported 5.3 heads. Then sell your old heads to offset the cost.
5.3 will make more power than your 5.7 heads will and up the compression a little. You need to be a little careful where you set the compression since I have heard you can only get 91 octane fuel out there.

i know there are some people that are unaware to the fact that most heads sold by performance parts shops like GTP, Patriot, etc are ALL ported stock heads. If my memory serves me correctly, AFR was the first to release completely original castings
