Noobish question about "tunes"
Is it like messing with the computer IE: "forcing more fuel" "changing the
Shift points" stuff like that??? can't you just buy that PowerProgramer thingy??
would tune make a difference on a stock car? If so where abouts in Maryland is a good place to get one.. and how much do they tend to cost?
any kind of info would be great
Unless you get a custom tune for the handheld, like I've done with my Predator... the bad thing about it is that you have to wait on someone else to tune the car based on your own observations... which can be frustrating if you have to keep getting things tweaked.
At my point, HP Tuners is definitely a better idea... as soon as I get a laptop, that's what I'll be doing.
is this the predator tune in witch u guys speak of????

HPTuners is definitely the shiznit. I happen to have a copy for sale for a 2000 year F-Body if you're interested, and I'm sellin it for less than the handehelds.
how much are you selling it for??

Thats 18rwhp/15rwtq in just tuning.
People talk about 'tunes' all the time, but a real tune is customized to your car, your settings, your sensors, everything. Definitely not just copy and paste on graphs because "it worked before". Cough cough cough.
so many tuners came to mine just then, that i cant tell who you're making fun of.
