Question What type of head gaskets come with Patriot heads??

Allright I know a lot of you guys don't like Patriot, but that's what I got. So please no flaming here.
But they came with head gaskets, which are some type of three-layer metal head gaskets. For those of you with Patriot heads, what type of gaskets are these, are they thicker/thinner than stock, and should I use them or not?
I had already gotten a complete GM heads/cam swap gasket set from Thunder, so now I have the stock head gaskets and the one they sent to choose from!

So, are they better than the other GM head gaskets? Work ok on the 5.7L ? What about the thickness ?
please excuse my ignorance

Ok, been doing some searching, and found this:
"97-98's require the graphite gasket and the other years require the MLS gaskets. Beside the material, the gaskets themselves are actually different."

Why is this?
and also I got this info: Graphites: .054" thick and MLS .064" thick.
So it sound like, if I can it would be better to use the Graphite, for better quench.

Mine is a '98 LS1

Depends, either gasket will work however I prefer the MLS gasket, much easier to clean up when changing heads in the future and also a much better gasket.

It is a GM MLS 6.0 gasket. It will work on the stock bore with no issues. The compressed thickness is .055".
