Stock gearing may help. Definitely alot goes to my driving style because the tune is pretty rich. I typically shift around 2200 and stay between 1700-2300 for 90% of my driving. The other 10% is on the throttle

Its hard to believe but I get MAYBE 1-2 MPG less than before the cam. I think its due to the fact that the cars stock tune was pretty bad. I can get about 200 to the tank now with the cam/headers/intake/stall

C'mon people it should be the other way around, 90% on the throttle and 10% shifting like a granny. Most of my shifts are around 4-5 on normal driving with 3.23 gears.

I guess I cant really say its 200 to the tank because I fill up before it hits E. I usually only put in about 10.25 gallons and that equates to about 19.5 MPG.

Do you guys all have 10% ethanol gasoline year round? I do. It has seriously cut into my gas milage since it started last year.

My city mileage isn't great, but cam-only and with heads/cam, my highway mileage has been excellent. I routinely get 27+ mpg and that's driving normally... if I babied it, the numbers would go up a bit.

I just got the gears though, so I expect it'll take a hit on the highway.

Just got back on a trip AC 50% of the time. Some city driving about 5-10% etc stop and go got in traffic. I hit 400+ miles on the tank and 29MPG.

I have the 233/239 cam too. I used every gear and didnt ever skip a gear. Most of the time left it in sixth. 75 up there and about 68-70mph back.

I thought that was good with a good size cam. I us GC oil too.
