Right now they are the weak link in that scenario and if you over rev and they bend, they are easy to replace and not that expensive. yea very true. the shifter will help too, new clutch and hydraulics if u have 2000 or older will help as well in shifting, but the shifter will help u hit gears more consistant. the shorter the stick the hard it will be to get into the wrong gear, i think i have the unofficial shortest stick ever (the one time its ok to have something the shortest haha) and i tell u what it makes shifting hit or miss, u will either miss the gear and free rev or hit the right gear, no missing it into another gear. at least thats my experience
