I didn't do a pump on my car.. it idles at over 40 psi o fpress, and isaorund 60 or more while driving... I saw no need I did do a ls2 timing chain, and hardened pushrods though. The pushrods I see as a must.. the stock ones won't be up to the task of the added spring pressure, esp. at high rpms. The timing chain.. I replaced that just because... the stock one looked fine when it came out, hell, it only had 17K on it.. but it's not gonna hurt.
