Default Fms F14

I know most of the specs. I would be ordering it on 112 lobe sep. So specs are 232/234 @ .050 .59x/.59x lift 112 lobe sep.How many degress advanced does the cam come with. Would I benefit having the cam made with 2/3/4 degrees advanced. Where does the cam peak at?? I'm willing to spin my motor ro 6800-6900 rpm.Specs on setup.

Stock bottom end LS1
RGR stage one LS6 heads with stock valves
LS6 intake with ported throttle body
ASP pulley
Mac mid length headers with true duals
Speed inc 4l60e transmission
PT4000 stall
Ford 9 inch rear end with 3.90 gears
28/1050/15 ET drags
NX dual stage wet kit will spray 150-200 shot.

Stock bottom end, get the +4. Lot's of low-end torque and should peak around 65-6600.

I was thinking about getting the same thing on a +1 or +0, just to see how it effected my current combination... If I do I will let you know the results...

I was going to order within the next week. I thought that 2 degress advanced would push up the power band to high. I run a 4000 stall so low speed torque isn't a huge concern.

4000 stall.... woof...

Well then I would not go +4 no matter what... 0, 1 or 2, ask Gomer... I have an idea given what you are doing he will say 1 or 0. You know we are all insane digging at the at last HP....

You will have yours (cam) before I do... I am taking vacation in June and will not being changing anything until mid-June...

Good luck..

Get it on a +2. Brandon has it on a +4 and it REALLY starts to pull around 4k so he says. When I was in the car I was busy holding on so I couldn't tell you when it really peaked.

I just ordered the F13 112+0. Should be interesting If its too high I can always advance it 2* at a time until it peaks where I want it.

I have the FM14 on a 112. Even though the car hasn't been tuned yet, I noticed a loss in low end torque.

It won't be installed until after HPTuners 2.0 comes out, so whenever that is. I don't yet have the cam in my possession anyhow, just ordered last week.

I think FMS usually puts 4 degrees into the cams. I ordered a F13 a while back and it had 4 degrees.

FMS cams tend to come standard w/4* advance. You can order them differently but the SOP is 4*.
