I am certainly leaning towards the 112lsa but here is an important question for me to get answered.
Its my understanding that the 114 would make more power than the 112 in the higher rpm band. Therefore, my logic tells me that the car would produce higher HP numbers on a dyno vs. 112.
I assume that the 112 is the better choice for drag racing b/c it will make a little more power under the peak horsepower number and we all know that is where drag races are really one.
Is my reasoning correct here, that the 114 would make a larger peak HP number but the 112 should edge it out (all else being equal) in a drag race, b/c of the slightly more power being made under the peak HP number?
Thanks for a reply to these last few questions, which should be the last determining factor in my decision to go with a 112lsa.
