Default AFR 59cc/LG G5X2 + flycut

Hey I am doing an install for a friend. We're using AFR's milled down to 59cc with a LG G5x2 cam. Does the exhaust side need to be flycut?

Funny, I am doing the same thing next weekend for a friend also. He is using the same heads but the G5X3 cam. He was instructed by LG to cut the intake side only. I am not sure how it works for the G5X2???

Good Luck,

I would do a .050 just for good measures.

Or in case you decide to go BIGGER, then no flycutting again.

I have that exact setup. I only cut the intake side. All is well for now! I have spun my motor to 7000 rpm without issue.

Yep, intake side only. Go .070 for safe measure, that should give you plenty of clearance, and much more room to grow to a larger cam as well.

Would the pistons need to be flycut for stock z06 heads with the g5x2 or x3 cams?
