Well I got 431 rwhp and 398 rwtq with the TSP 235/240, which I think was the prototype for the mini-stick. I did a little home porting on my 241 heads. I'm also running through a Moser 9 inch and had a cooked clutch for the dyno. So with the 408, you should be well above that, maybe about 500 rwhp.

NO WAY IN HELL WILL YOU HIT 500 with those heads.
Your gonna have a nice bottom end now it's time to start working on the top end.
Your setup is gonna be like a chick with a fine *** but no tit's.
Spend the 4000 for the bigger boobies and now you have a complete package.
I would look into some AFR/TEA heads and a 90mm TB and intake. Without that I wouldn't expect much more then 450-460.

Yes, and I'd get a bigger cam too. Look at the TSP Texas Giant Cam with some TEA/AFR Stage 3s, and FAST LSX90. With some 1-7/8" QTP HVMs, it'd make 550-575rwhp.

Yeah, those heads will kill you. And don't buy a custom cam from whomever is assembling the motor, tell them your needs and what heads you'll be running, they will mate a cam up to it better than you can.

well see thats why were just gonna clean the heads up so that we dont lose all our bottom end but were not gonna go wild, cause i know its not a big cam for a stroker. but the guy that gave us the idea said why port the sh*t out of your heads and lose bottom end when you'll have the bottle to carry you through the top. thats why were not going very big on the cam right now and crazy on the heads. i bought a set of 853's from a friend of mine here in town and when the motor is back up and running im gonna start porting the sh*t out of those heads and then when i have the money to upgrade in springs and im able to afford the cam, then we'll go ahead and put the ported heads and the giant in there. thanks for the quick replies guys and keep them coming
Thanks Jason

The reason why you go big on the heads is because of the crank you have. Whoever gave you this info need to do a little more research.
I bet my *** you will run faster with a great set of heads then you will a avarage set of heads.
(As long as your 60 ft's are the same, and same weather etc.)
If this wasn't the case we would all save mega cash on the heads.
