Other than having to make a bolt extension of sorts, I found the stock pulley to be easy off and somewhat easy on. Just have to use the 3 jaws on the inside hub of the pulley, where the three lil canted steps are for the jaws. Simple. Impact it and forget it. Why stretch an ARP bolt?

I always use a chain wrench (in the plumbers section of the tool department in Sears) to keep the crank from turning while breaking the crank bolt loose. You'd be surprised how much a 4 ft section of pipe slid over a 3 ft breaker bar reduces the torque required to get that crank bolt turning. It make the 250 ft/lbs feel more like 100.

Because a "good" ratchet has a free warranty!! they will eventually break if used regularly anyways

Impact off-Impact on, no problems here. Snap-on impacts rule
