Default Crane dual spring and Ti retainer assy?

The instructions say that "in most caes the retainers have a press fit and can usually be assembled on the spring by hand. If more pressure is need a vise should be used, ect".

It seems to me that these retainers are not a inference fit at all. Looks like they will just sit in place.

Those instructions are generic. You're right. They just sit on the spring like every other valve spring/retainer combo I've ever seen.
