Pulley and ported throttle body are a nice complement to that combo.

Without the heads, I would imagine that you'd be around 390-400 with ported tb, intake, pulley and a good tune. Throw on the heads and I bet you'll put down a pretty good number.

keep in mind that the "LS6" style heads from patriot aren't true LS6 heads and will not perform as well as ported true 243-casting LS6 heads. Keep that in mind. If you want some really kickass heads for ~1500, look into TEA's 5.3 Rev2 heads. Those kick some major ***.

Cyphur, dont make people think you cant make good power with those heads. Keep in mind that Patriot isnt exactly cutting edge with their cnc technique. Basically they just remove material and open up the runners. The actual 317/243 castings are so close that you can expect comparable numbers out of each considering the same cnc program is run on each. Combustion chamber shape is slightly different, I dont know better or worse, but I do know their shape has been effect. The next set of heads I do will be blank LS6 style heads from Patriot. I did a set for a customer about a month ago and they went 318 at .600 and 206 at .300. With a less agressive port job than alot of more knowledgeable people do. 2.08/1.60, but none the less its a great casting. Just take that bare casting and send it to TEA.

for all thoughs putting sh#t on patriot heads i would like to show you the flow results i got out of there ls6 style stage 2 heads we did a flow test first and got 308cfm@.600 (about average for these heads we wernt game to test them to .650 because of some of the issues with these heads) then the heads had a good hand finish and clean up and all the assembly was checked and came out 100% fine (which cost $150) so we then through the heads on for another go and here are the results

lift intake exhaust
.100'' 77cfm 68cfm
.200'' 148cfm 125cfm
.300'' 219cfm 176cfm
.400'' 264cfm 218cfm
.500'' 304cfm 237cfm
.550'' 315cfm 242cfm
.600'' 325cfm 246cfm
.650'' 332cfm 249cfm
and this was done on a 232cc intake runner there pretty good flow numbers if you ask me
