There is your answer 243 (LS6 casting)
Also on the outside, bottom right hand next to the first exhaust port (243)

oh dear lord...sorry to say but i think at first glance that was the funniest thing i have EVER seen. I thought you bought them and someone cnc'd them like that.. sorry to say you won't be getting much for them. The only way I see any use for them is if you got them cnc'd again for low compression, so you could remove all that damaged material.

no there not anyone who thinks that hasnt seen the **** i have with cylinder heads...i seen a set of AFR SBC heads come off the motor in 3 pieces and FIXED!!! and run for a few more years before SOLD!!!
i can have the combustion chamber tig welded back up and the hand smoothed out. they wont be CNCd but they will match the CC of the other chambers!!!

I was given a pair of heads off an 02 Z06 that sucked a valve, the combustion chamber looked alot like your head. It took about $160 worth of welding and machining (.007 milling) to get the head back to a point where I could finish the fine grinding and polishing. Those valves retail at about $75 a piece so you will have to consider that cost as well. I wouldn't invest the money in that head if I intended to sell it, there's plenty 243 heads out there for about $400 or less each

Do you know what were the circumstances were that caused this? Just how does the face of this Exhaust valve fall off? I know it's a hollow stemed, sodium filled unit, and I haven't heard of any failures with these valves. Could it have been high spring pressures?

Was that on a Forced Induction motor that it was damaged? Look at the chamer to the left of the raped one in the picture. Is that silver flaking on the valve face from the damaged chamber or from detonation in that cylinder? The chamber to the right of the damaged one doesn't look so good either.

well it was a Crate 6.0 from Scoggin Dickey...the car that i was in had MULTIPLE problems with the ASSEMBLY of the motor from Scoggin Dickey. it was doomed from the day it was installed. it was only the 2nd 6.0 that they had put in a F-body. He was drivin it down the road one day and it just stared ****** CLATTERIN!!! BAD!!! hence i lil bit of head damage. adn GOD did it burn oil as you can see form the pic also!!! and the speckling on the left chamber isnt from detonation its just debris from the other chamber!!!
