My numbers were 398hp and 382tq with the F13, highflow cats, long tubes, ls6 intake, gtp heads, and a 6spd. The torque curve sucks and I've dropped a least 1/2 a second in the quarter. I made more power with my lpe stealth cam and mac headers.

Agree w/Gomer..... with a F11/LS6 intake and TEA 1.5 5.3's I was making 435/406 through the 12 bolt w/a steep gear and 28" slicks. No reason you shouldn't be seeing 400+ w/that cam + heads.

Your cats and high heat/humidity that day aren't helping but not to the tune of 20-30 rwhp(which as stated should have been SAE corrected).

Where is the # peaking on the graph?
Any phugly dips/spikes?
Where's A/F?
Where's timing?
TB blade going 100% @ WOT???????

Was this a mustang dyno per chance? If it was a dynojet, there's probably something wrong. My guess is the tune. I can tell you i feel a huge difference between when ive got my air:fuel correct and when its a little big off, definately enough to give you the discrepency youre talking about. Did they tune for max power or did they just tune to get your wideband at a certain ratio? If they didnt put the sniffer far enough the tailpipe or if you have exhaust leaks you could have oxygen coming in from the outside, which means if they tuned you for say 12.8, you might actually be richer, killing your power. Ive seen a lot of people reporting all sorts of wacked out a:f readings on dynos, one guy had like 15:1 and no KR. That tells me that there was a problem with his wideband. Can you post a graph with your air fuel ratio?

heads and cam.

my a/f ratio was avg of 13.0 it was spot on all the way across.
the only thing odd on the graph was how the lines would reset themselves and redraw the lines. they still kept with the curve but they would stop and then go again, id post a pic, but im not at home right now.

I am starting to think that these are probably a bad batch of cams. You are not the only one with this problem recently. I went from a TR220 114 to the F13 114 and gained no power? My dyno graphs look exactly the same. With both these cams I had my car tuned and both times it was running lean around 14. No it was not a Mustang dyno either. If any one wants to host and post my dyno graphs let me know. I don't have a scanner at the moment. Let me know so I can fax them. A visual might help resolve the problem. I might contact Alan myself come Monday.

TR220 114
Max HP= 347.2
Max Torque= 382.2

F13 114
Max HP= 347.9
Max Torque= 376.0

A freind of mine dynoed 410 rwhp and 400rwtq with a f13 and a patriot stage 2 heads, with a A4 with no stall on 04 GTO.... but he got those no. after a long time effort of tuning and hard work. though he is trying to squeeze more hp with doing more and more work on tuning , just to let u know that the first time he dynoed something close to u thats around 390rwhp .... so i think u got a plenty of loosen hp that must be squeezed from your ls1.

good luck

I better hurry up and get my *** to a dyno, i bought my cam during that special too. I can say that it does feel like gobs of power though. I wish I had mic'ed up my cam to make sure the lift numbers jived. You guys all got a cam card, right? Everything specs out right? Were these cams 112 or 114? +4 advance? Im wondering if theres a common trait among the low yielding cams...

I'd be extremely pissed.

I did 412/378 with the F-15, stock LS1 heads, stock TB, no underdrive pulley and through a Vette drivetrain.

IMO, if you can't go over 450+ rwhp with some ported LS1 heads and a bigger cam, go the fu*k home. I'd expect 470+ with some ported LS6 heads on the stock bottom end.

I just did AFR 205's and an F13 and 408/379 through Long tubes, no cats, magnaflow. I was making numbers in my signature cam only with a T1 cam. I was not too happy with the outcome.

Honestly, I'd look more at the heads/tuning for power issues.

Sadly enough, everyone and their grandmas are head-porting gurus on the internet, but only a select few ever put out.. 450+ rwhp. The others just seem to take your money.

These heads from the factory were so meticulously engineered, it shouldn't be much of a problem putting down some serious numbers when they are ported by reputable companies.

I got mine at the end of May. I know tuning is not the issue, and I would hope that the heads are ok considering the $$$$. Honestly, I was not happy with the numbers, but figured the car ran well and I would see what happens at the track. I was never expecting 450+, but I figured 420 was very attainable.

Put it this way:

When I get some ported LS6 heads from Advanced Induction, they better go 460+ with this cam on the stock bottom, or I'll burn this car to the ground.
