Default F13 installed, but got a question regarding #s

I just had a F13 cam installed with some FLP stage 2 heads. my numbers ended up being 391hp and 360 tq. do these seem low to anyone. Ive got cats, i know that doesnt help. it was over 94 degrees when it was dynoed. i got a 12 bolt and chrome moly driveshaft too. so i got lots of little things eating horsepower up. but figured id ask you guys if these seem close or are they off for some reason. let me know what you guys think. if you have any questions, ask away, ill answer you the best i can

no, with that power robbing drivetrain you have and cats are eating up some power also. i think they are pretty good #'s.

Who did the tune? Has anyone ever recommended that you remove the SLP MAF and put it back to stock?

Not to be a dyno racer, but I'd be pissed if I had heads and an F13 and didn't AT LEAST hit 400. But with that 12 bolt and cats...who knows.

yeah, im not far from 400 hp wise, but as i said, the weather was 94 degrees and 100% humidity throughout the dynos. so when it gets cooler out and i hit the dyno again, then we will see if the temps are holding me back a good bit too. if my numbers stay the same in cooler temps, then ill be a little bothered.

The dyno should have corrected the numbers. You can ask FLP on that, or look at the dyno sheet it might have usefull info on it.

With stock heads, 12 bolt, and all bolt ons with the F15 cam, I did 397rwhp 36x rwtq. I think with the F13 and your drivetrain you should be 420rwhp atleast with a good set of heads.

thats where i was guessing, like i said, ill have to see about another dyno when this heat breaks up a bit. with the qtp y, i could take the cats out and try it without them. see what i can do. Ill have to sit on the numbers for the time being i guess. car pulls great atleast. coulda been the dyno for all i know. so i guess we will see. heres to hoping

ALSO, im gonna look into gettin a pulley and perhaps a ported tb too. cause im missing those things still.

This looks to be the third low numbers making F13 recently. Could there be a possible bad batch of cams?

I did 362hp 355tq with F13 in my 2000 WS6 M6. But my number's are low because I don't have the ,ls6 intake and my TB is getting ported by BO and I have a peace of crap flomaster that came with car. But I should ber close or other 400 w/ LS6,PORTED TB,GMMG,30LBS. I hope

Sean, I think you should have had Speed Inc. do your car. You would have more horsepower, more torque, and a hell of a lot faster car. Then your car would be more like mine.

Your dyno numbers see low. If your car was an A4 I could have seen those numbers but through that M6 I would have expected 415-420. I bet speed can pull another 15-20 hp from that setup

heck mine with a 224 cam and tea heads pulled 399 through the auto trans and 10bolt.. but thats with no cats also.

cats might eat up 10hp? Rear is another 5-10 im sure?

maybe 15-20hp your not seeing? Thats still only 410ish to the rear.. I woulda thought a good 420-430hp from that setup, but everycar is different. Also, if the car feels quick and you are happy then through the dyno sheet in the trash:-P Mine dynoed 277/300 SI and went 11.9 so go figure LOL

i'd just try a offroad pipe on there and see how she does

im waiting on a email back from Allan to see what he thinks would be causing these numbers, cause i was surely expecting 410 atleast, and the tq, well, thats seemed way off from the start.

what type of cats?

High flow or stock?

Also.. your car should DEFINATELY be above 400.

I JUST got my F13 and from what everyone has been dyno'ing.. I am expecting 400 to the rear cam only.

So.. I would see if your heads are flowing correctly.

As stated above.. the temp/humidity dosnt mean anything. You can run the car in 120 degree heat but the dyno is SAE corrected. Which means.. it is based on a 70 degree day.

Otherwise.. dyno companies would lose out in the summer. You want a standard temp to show your gains or loses.

Dynos are just that.. DYNO's.

I have seen people dyno 400 and run 12.5's

I have seen people dyno 309 (me at one point) and run 12.3's

see the difference?

Dyno's are just a quick test to see if your car is running rich/lean/ect ect.

If the car feels golden to you.. then beat the snot out of it and dont worry
