Default Cam replacement on a vette

Got my cam on order with push rods/ti retainers and 918 springs. What else will I need as far as gaskets or other odd and ends. I will be doing this with friends who have replaced cams in F-bodies and want to have everything ready. Any "pointers" on the Vette will be appreciated.

Nothing really too difficult, rack removal is tedious. Camshaft will clear the condenser if someone pulls condenser slightly forward. Recommend ARP balancer bolt. I pinned the hub of my ATI damper while I was there, using a remote cable drill. BTW, nice pics of your Z06 airwolf

Lets just pull the motor and put in the big cube forged motor like a 408-427.

It's there on jmx's main page. Cam's in the vette, balances is a pain, remove the steering rack, and don't drop any bolts in the pan. Have you got a new oil pump yet?

It's basically the same, and IIRC it has different parts for each. ie Corvettes in orange and f-body is in yellow, or something like that.

My bad, I was wrong. I guess JMX split them up for some reason, because they used to be one in the same. Here ya go

His car is a garage Queen with 7000 miles so I would believe his oil pump will be ok.
