Big cam and AFR 225s... VTEC-like. Better have some 4.10s or better in there.

He's also losing ~10 ponies, with respect to the F-body, due to the independent-rear suspension

JBGRAYTA, I'll be dynoing my combo in a couple of weeks

I'll pm you the results if you like

You are an exception, as I've already mentioned. That's like Gomer coming in and saying he was over that number with the F-13, some patriots, ls6 intake, and a ported throttle body (all of which should make quite a bit less power than your setup). You need to get your tuning issues fixed so you can actually be happy with all the money you got tied up in your car. Everytime I see your sig I'm like WTF how can you not be making at least another 15-20rwhp. I honestly think you should be upwards of 475-480 with all your mods. Being that you have basically everything including an EWP. An underdrive pulley prolly won't do much on the dyno.

And you know this how ? The x4 is just as friendly as far as driveability as my x3 on a 112.... So again, how do you know ? I know because i've driven 2 x4 cammed cars(1 was my brothers so i drove it frequently)

For max power, go big heads, solid roller. period

I don't I just figured it would be since it's over a 240 duration .6XX lift cam. Or the fact that LG said that it's not a daily driver cam. Just a few little things that lead me to believe it won't drive all that well. I have no seat time in one though so your word is better than mine. I still see no reason to be so hostile in correcting a simple mistake.

Side note though. Driveability varies from person to person. Some people think it's terrible driveability if it surges at 1200rpms. Some can live with giving it gas at stop lights so it won't stall.

Haha, threads like these make me laugh.

To the original poster: THERE ISN'T A BADDEST H/C COMBO!!!!

Example:
SMOKIN01TA on this board dynoed 440 cam only
pdd dynoed 440 with the a good sized cam and the baddest heads on the market.

H/C combo's are not predictable, meaning there cannot be an absolute "best" setup.

pdd has some serious issues and is skewing the data. Even though a respectable tuner did the tuning something is not right. In no scenario should a tuned (even untuned most likely) f-14 be stalling anytime, yet alone every light. Something is either wrong with tune or something about his setup. His numbers have been dissapointing ever since the begining. I really hope you get these issues worked out because your car should make unreal numbers.

Didnt mean to come off as hostile, im just a very intense person sorry hehe, but no the driveability is great and little surging. It never stalled out either.

Or the GMPP LS6 heads and Grand Am cup Cam(thats the one I like). Or maybe a sleeper, like a smaller FM cam and a nice set of heads(a proven combo). I know of the cam-only setups, but what about this?
NW 90TB
Fast 90 Intake
TRex
LS7 heads (chk p to v clearance)
Kooks
elec. H20 pump
spin it to 7500

my combo didn't put down bad numbers. i was going to go with the afr 225's milled to 66cc, but the p\v clearance was not there even with flycut pistons
