T rex wow
i thought it was a misprint, but he hasnt posted so its prob true. i feel sorry for the guy, drives it once and realizes he has to tear it back down. man, go with some patriot doubles and tit. retainers and thank the lord that your motor even made it home after your lil cruise...
Yeah, I see now way that he'll show himself for awhile.....it's not very often somebody gets horribly flamed in a tech forum.
He wouldn't have done it if he used the search button before hand.

however guys the more i think about it, i think ima have to call bs on this entire thread and agree with a previous post that he was in a fantasy or something, cause odds are if you even started your motor with those valve spring youd float every valve and crush every one of them, if you didnt kill it on startup after another 1000 rpms you would

242/248, .608/.612 110lsa
LS6 cam 02 (I picked the biggest)
204/218, .551/.541 117.5lsa
So the guy (apparently) is running the T-Rex with stock LS6 cam single beehive spring good to .570 lifts max.
In all fairness, he might not have the proper spring, but going by his limited
information, could it be possible, he's using a later model LS6 spring, or after
market LS6 spring?
Just some quick searching finds a few springs that put him over the recommended
max lift, but not necessarily at coil bind.
Just a thought?

I highly doubt it, he said it pulled and since this cam doesn't pull till well into the rpms I'd say this is
Maybe he doesn't even need valve springs. The pistons will push them closed.
