BTW, MMR23, thanks again for posting your dyno data. Saw it on the Z06 forums.

The stock rockers are a 1.7. They do require a spacer or you have to spend time working and beating on the valve cover in a about three locations. In addition they require fresh hardedned pushrods and the kit has new studs and plates. They need to be adjusted to zero lash and the intake stud needs to sealed with silicon(or it will leak oil into your pistons).

A&A, the best tuner near you, installs the Comp. Pro-Magnum roller rocker setup that I have for sale above. They got a 22 r.w.h.p. different moving from the stock Z06 rockers to 1.8's. 1.85's will yield more.

If I did not just do complete rebuild on my stroker I would use these. I cutting a new cam well into the .600's and with considerable duration, otherwise I would use them. IMO and other builders, they are equivalent to high priced Jesel's without the super high price.

the stock rockers are 1.7 ratio. the slp 1.85 do not require spacers. the vinci/crane does not require spacers either.

Correct, the SLP's do not require a spacer (They are a knock off of the 1.7's). They are not manufactured anymore in a 1.85, although there are some floating around.

I am not sure with Vinci/Crane, that you need to beat on the valve covers to make them fit. I believe that you do. The Comp's & Jesels must have worked covers, C5R valve covers or spacers. For me, $104 valve cover spacer on $25,000 motor, is just that, is a required $104 spacer.

The SLP's are not reguarded as being a true roller rocker.

the SLP are just like stock. just 1.85 is the only difference.

vinci/crane does not need a spacer. on the 97-98, you need to gring some on the inside of the covers to clear.
