Default Motor on the way out?

Hey guys. Need some serious help. Im going to try and describe this the best i can without confusing anyone. For the past 6 months my car has ran like crap. Changed o2's IAT, ECT, checked maf, plugs, wires, and a retune. Did nothing. The car seems like it has a dead cylinder i think. It idles pretty smooth once it warms up but you can hear in the exhaust that something is off. It is also speuing raw fuel out the exhaust. The car only has 17000 miles. Took it out last night for some HARD *** driving to see what it does and it didnt do well, feels like it is down 50 hp. What should i do?

Is it raw fuel or water from the catalyzation of HC and O2?

If its raw fuel, then finding the source of the fuel will probably be the misfire. If you have, say, an injector stuck open, that cylinder will be dead and excessive fuel in the tailpipe.

If you suspect an injector hung open, I would run it for a minute or two, then remove the plugs and see if one is wet. You could also put a fuel pressure gauge on it and turn the key on, engine off. It "should" build pressure and hold. Assuming your pump checkball is good, if it drops off, then an injector is hung open.

You could also have a dead coil pack, or perhaps a bad plug wire or something to that effect. You shouldn't have to pull the engine to fix your problem. Look at fuel and ignition on whichever bank is spewing fuel. Then, track down your problem and fix it in the car.

I would start with a cylinder leakdown test and work your way to the top of the engine.
