Default LS6 intake doesnt sit right.

Im installing my LS6 intake, its brand new and when I put it on the engine it kinda wobbles from the front left corner to the right rear. I looked underneath and there is nothing there. Nothing sitting wrong. Could it be because its new and not seated yet or is something not lined up??

thanks

Did you install the new coolant lines/plugs? Did you remove those clips as well?

Like was stated above, if you don't use the LS6 coolant crossover and take off the "clips" from the LS1 coolant system.. you'll have some fitment issues.

Yeah and if you torque it down without removing this you'll very easily crack the bottom of the manifold. There are tubes under your LS1 manifold that must be removed, they are kind of in a "K" shape.........sort of, you'll see them when you have the manifold off.

thanks guys but just as I posted I went downstairs and removed those clips. That was the problem. At first I thought it was the bolts because the original valley came with 10mm bolts. Oh yeah I did the PCV conversion as well. But the LS6 valley cover came with 13mm I think.

Hi Deamon,

Dubai is much better than Sharjah. I wish I was around on the 15th, I'm going to Thailand on the 13th. We could have met over a couple of brewskies.

Just in case you are ever here again in the future here is my cellular # 050 454 9676.
Give me a buzz, we will get together.
