Default Service Engine Light on after first track pass with Cam

My S.E. light flashes when i hit 6K RPM going down the 1/4th, feels like it loses all top end. With Mods in sig was only running 13.3's @ 109-110. My traction was pitiful on stock rubber but was wondering what may have caused the light to flash on then off at 6k. Light stays off after letting off it and she drives fine under normal conditions.

I have 918 springs, was wondering if any of you think it may be valve float?
Or perhaps just running too lean up top? Hasnt been tuned. I dont have a scan tool at the moment.

Thanks
Scott
yes, its getting tuned very shortly, just a base line run.

If it is not tuned, then please why bother posting.
It is not running right BECAUSE it is not tuned

Scoobie, I was saying that untuned you can go lean on top and seriously mess up things. That is why I bang my head when cam swap is done and the motor is pushed on without a tune.
What tune was in it?

is it exactly 6k then the light goes off or just when you get up high in the rpms? could be loosing a o2 sensor, my car did this when i went high in the rpms right after my H/C swap...

Honestly, with those mods that's about the right time for a real world track run. The manifold at 90mm might not be the best help on a stock cube, medium cam car. The LS6 would be about the same at the level the car is at right now. With my mods below on a shitty track (I had a 220/224-114 cam) I only got 13.1@110. Got exactly the same time all three runs. If there was more traction on the line I would have a 12 second slip but the trap speed tells the story on the mods and I feel that you are about right. I don't know about the SES light though. The dyno-tune will settle that.

A flashing SES light is a misfire somewhere Scoobs. May have a plug shitting the bed on ya. Double check all the plugs, coil pack connectors, and etc. PM me if you need anything!
