There is a local guy here with a LS1 SS that has over 200,000 miles on it.. Its a 6-spd car with only a few mods. He doesn't run it that hard either. About 6 months ago he took it to SMITTY because it was having some problems. Ended up being the valves had so much **** built up on them that it wouldnt run. hahaha Still got the stock motor, trans, and rear end.

Year: 1999
Make: Chevy
Model: Camaro SS
Mileage 78K and change
How Driven: Mostly babied, I'd guess, but I spin it up from time to time.
Mod Level: See sig...I'd say moderate but you may think it's more....
Engine Condition: I can only assume it's "excellent" but who's to say until I see the bottom end. So far, so good.

I've put almost 100K on three different Camaro engines. With proper care, they'll last.

I see in your sig that you don't have 400rwhp with stage 2 heads/cam... WTF is up with that? I'd be pissed..

94000 motor still very strong dyno numbers in sig with 84000 on motor driven pretty hard its whole life without showing any signs of wear. Mobil 1 synthetic every 6000 miles since new just broke it in with reg oil for the first 500 miles then an oil change with regular oil and changed it again at 1500 miles then swithched to synthetic ever since.

Engine is in great condition. No oil consumption, car sees redline almost everytime I take her out. Mostly driven in nice weather though. Mods in sig. Regular maintenance is key.
