Default ? about Cam

I was intrested in purchasing a Cam for my 2000 T/A. Its a daily driver so i have to keep that in mind also. The cam is a custom grind cam. Specs 230/228 @ .50/590/570 The only mods i have now are Kooks L/T headers with high flow cats, ported T/B, undercrank pulley and exhaust. I plan on also getting a vigilante 3200 convertor later. Can anyone tell me if this cam size would be good for my car? and can you recommend any other good sizes and brand name cams? Thanks lots.

I'd do the converter first if I were you. But besides a LS6 intake, it looks like you're all set for a cam.
