The heads did flow 295 @ .600 with no valve job at all so I guess things could have been worse.

SLED built it just before he left the shop.
Wade was long gone from the picture @ ARE once my motor was built.
The build could've been right from the beginning, though... we'll never know now.

Stay tuned... all details will be reveiled, as soon as I get them.
I'm anxious to see what comes out of it, and even more anxious to get what I was supposed to get in the 1st place.

So which one is the lie... now or last year ?
One more or one less doesn't make a difference anymore.
And fwiw, I never doubted the build itself... and that's not even the point.
And since it wasn't you, then who built the Engine ???
If you can't provide a name, I call .

Dave, here's the million dollar question... did you know his engine was blown when came to pick up the car last week? It's possible the build itself was perfect but it grenaded on the dyno due to running ultra lean...
Be honest with us, Dave!

It's kinda hard to believe that you never paid attention to the car being in the shop when there was a question of whether the motor was screwed or not. You being the engine builder and all
I've never been nor will I ever step foot in ARE or Autoworx, way too many horror stories

I do have the emails, but will not post them on the net... it's unethical on my books, and won't do it, unless Dave consents to it.
Dave I told you, and will let everyone know that there is no reason to believe something was originally wrong with the build... I'm sure the engine was well built when it went in the car... the dammage, imho, came from at least 1 session of dyno to which I was present, going way over 18:1 A/F because that's the limit showing on the screen.
Stop putting Dave into the equation since he's not part of the people that should have the spotlight on them.
3 people that should start taking responsibility for their actions, or non-actions, and really start thinking what their word means are:
Nick Agostino
Pete K
Brian

Maybe the emails he has from you were discussing parts or pieces that were going to go in it, and the other guy ended up building it.

Hey guys... please don't start bashing... I don't want the thread locked.
I still want to be able to post the results of the engine as the heads get pulled.
Thanks.

results are out:
The list is exhaustive so stick with me... gee... don't even know where to start.
So I have a lot of questions that need to be answered today by Frankie when he calls me and we go meet.
There is no way the motor was built and lots of the issues not known at that point, tolerances, single-chain, wrong parts.
I'll keep you guys posted on the results of it, and we'll know if ARE will make things right or not.
In the end, I need to buy:
p.s.: Pix will be available soon and posted... stay tuned.
The list is exhaustive so stick with me... gee... don't even know where to start.
- rod-bearings are detonated to death, at least 1 has copper exposed through it.
- rod-bearings have no shamfer, and are hitting the radius on the crankshaft.
- bores in the block are tappered 0.003"... too big in the bottom.
- there is 0.008" piston to wall distance, too much considering the spec for this is to be under 0.005". pistons are dammaged, and need replacement.
I need a new block - cam is not a custom grind cam with different specs than I was supposed to get... I have a LG-cam G5X-3, not the 242/248 .610/.613 111 LSA I was quoted and charged.
- Connecting rods appear to be Ohio-rods, not Diamond
- Crank is in fact an Eagle 4" stroke and pistons are indeed the Diamond pistons w/ flat-top.
I got a 385 in there, at least - heads, they are not LS6 aluminum heads as I paid for... they are Patriot 6.0 l. heads welded to make fit w/ Patriot Golds springs... valves are not out yet, but looks like 2.055"
- each head has a problem with 1 valve/head... tip where rocker meets is missing.
- stock LS1 gaskets ... how the hell is one supposed to run a direct-port nitrous on an stock gasket ???
- bone-stock single LS1 timing-chain... I paid for a double-on... how can one degree the cam properly ?
- rear-main seal is leaking as well.
So I have a lot of questions that need to be answered today by Frankie when he calls me and we go meet.

In the end, I need to buy:
- a new block
- new heads, to get what I paid for
- new cam, to get what I paid for
- new pistons, cause those are dammaged due to bad build-up.
- bearings, rings, gaskets, etc.
p.s.: Pix will be available soon and posted... stay tuned.
