the split is huge and is bigger then what you need IMO.
If you want something that will make power and peak somewhat early look at the F13 cam.
Also the Cam AFR uses works well.
224/228 581/588 and put it on a 112 to bring your power band down a bit.
It is a dyno of the F13.
Look where peak power is made and I think you will be sold.

Then many dyno's have inaccurate weather stations and that messes the SAE numbers up a little as well.
your goal is very achieveable with a cam only. I have a few friends with a 224 TR cam making 390+ with every bolton and very good exhaust.
Personially I like the 224/228 cam but thats just me.
