Hey Bryan, on leak-down test you usually express the results in percentages..
So your worst cylinder is approx 6% loss of pressure, your best only 3%.
I have bike motors that are at <1%, but these numbers look o.k. to me. Your cylinder sealing seems to be just fine..
Did you do this w/ the motor "hot" or cold?

Hee hee, you no likey my "rounding"?
Just think, with the way kids are taught math in school these days, our future scientists will aim for Mars and hit the Sun instead!
Those numbers should only improve if you ran the motor a bit before hand.
I really feel like those low dyno numbers were due to the weather conditions. I've been skeptical of "correction factors" on dyno's for years.. I'm going back to Dyno Lab after my cam swap; but I'm waiting for more "reasonable" conditions.. Maybe we can get a PSP group and go together.
Got the tool today BTW.

Here is the weather history in Nov 2004 when I had the first dyno. 58.7 °F and 83% humidity at 12 noon.
Here is the weather history for July, 2005 76.5 °F and 80% humidity at 2100hrs
Pretty cool weather site where you can get the hour by hour stats of temp and humidity, ect.

[QUOTE=gmblack3]Same dyno (dynolab in Atlanta) last time was in Nov as per my sig. So hotter and more humid now, but if its corrected that should not make a difference, right? QUOTE]
I didn't read the whole thread so don't know if it was said but SAE adjusts for altitude not weather and may be the reason for your lower numbers.

I had to sell the car, but the new owner had the car retuned last week in Atlanta at MTI. The new #s are 394/382 at the wheels. He also had 3:73 gears installed before the tune.
Not bad for an old beatup 01 Z06 with over 77k miles.

Before the tune I think the rwhp # was about 10 lower, not sure about the torque. This was a different dyno then the one I used. But I hear they are very close. So my guess is with the crane rockers and a tune 10rwhp was picked up.
Not another Z06 for a few years at least. Just got a beater now to drive to/from work.
