Would like to know what u guys think of the trex cam? im running a 232 from thunder. its going in a 382 stroker. car runs easy 11.0s with 1.72 60ft leaving at 3500rpms

Sorry, that was an ******* thing to do, but there are about 2,000 threads on the T-Rex.

Anyway, the T-Rex on a 113+0 would be a nice choice for a 382. With the supporting mods, 500rwhp isn't a long shot. Good luck!

 

thanks. i make 450 at the wheels now. putting new clutch in then going too hit it with 180 shot dry. bottom end all forged and studed. should be in good shape for a while.

 

You making the 450 with the 232 cam on the 382? I

If so, then ya, the T-Rex will add about 20rwhp more, and if you don't have it, put the LSX90 intake manifold and Nick Williams 90mm throttle-body, run the QTP 1-7/8" HVM headers, and finally milled AFR 225s heads. That would net you probably 520rwhp or so on a good day.

 

im running gtp stage 2 heads,ported tb and fllp long tubes untill i get my headers from bary at qtp. after the cam goes in this week its going up to east side for tuning. i hope it all works out and i get over 500 at the wheels.
