F10 is an AWESOME cam so far, even though we haven't taken it over 4krpm or gave it more than 30% TPS. Drives perfectly normal, cruising around, you can barely hear that the cam is there. Cold idle is still very surgy, everything else is fine. Tuning wise, VE tables for 400 and 800 rpms are 20% lower than the stock table, but in the 2400-4000rpm range the differences get much smaller, under 7% lower. Of course I'm hoping for like a nice 15-20% more air on higher rpms/map, but we gotta put the 200 break-in miles.
short version: F10 is a really nice street cam people!

What are break in miles???.. ...All ya do is put a heat cycle on the springs (2 if your ****) and kick it...it is ready to go...get it to a dyno and get a real tune on it and then you will be very happy...Look to do a 13 to 1 A\F ratio all the way across ...rev it up and dump the clutch and hang on...

Unless you are building a race engine it is an unnessary expense...tales of stock rockers coming apart are greatly exaggerated..in reality they are pretty darn good. You can pick up a small HP increase with aftermarket rockers but like I said the stock rockers will take care of most peoples needs...they use them on most of the specialty cars coming out of GMMG (the ZL1's and the Wide Body Mr. Chevrolet Dickie Harrell Editions)... You know the cars I'm talking about...the ones on the hot rod power tour for the last two years and they have been in all the magazines..Vic Edelbrock had them build one for him too..

I paid $300 for my brand new YT rockers. A guy bought them for his 1998 TA, but he wasn't told that they would fit, so he had to sell them brand new....
I think it was a good price for a quality product.

Good for you running accross a great deal on the rockers.. I was just trying to point out that for most people the stock rockers will do the job very well...like I said the failure of the stock rocker has been amplified way past reality on the internet..GMMG sells their specialty cars for $120K and they use the stock rockers and those guys make a ton of horse power with the 427's in those cars...contrary to the rumor mill in cyber hot rod land the stock rockers are a pretty good part..

Great picks, thanks. It does help ease the fears of us other newbies who are about to walk off that very same cliff.
I've got a pro coming over to help though, so I won't be totally in the dark.
Thanks for the write up.

As promised, here are the dyno numbers !
Car is not tuned yet on the top end.
I will be going for a Mustang Dyno, and have it tuned under a simulated load !
None the less... 390 rwhp and 386 rwtq on stock heads and non-agressive cam is quite a damn good accomplishment

Hey AdamSS i have a question? are your heads stock or aftermarket those numbers are pretty good. I'm looking at getting a LS1 long block and putting a cam in it also getting LT's y-pipe and high flow cats for my 98z. My motorblew so i was looking to make around 360 to the wheels i think that F10 cam should be a good choice. Also when u get it tuned you might just break 400hp at wheels. I was looking at getting a 04 LS6 it made 360hp a rear wheels but heck i could save a bunch of money just getting a F10 cam and get a LS1 engine.

hey adam - sweet car!
i know my car isn't nearly as powerful as yours, but i still think 265whp is decent in a little over 2000 lb. 2-door car.
