Default PRC stage 2.5 heads

well

i need to replace my lifters, so while TTP guys are in there we'll be installing these heads.

now, the rather screwed up part is that the cam stays stock for now, as unfortunately i dont have a money tree

heh.. a lot of people have a cam only setup, looks like ill have a heads only setup for now

ill post some dyno sheets after this is done with, if you're interested

out of curiosity, how much of a gain do you guys think i'll see with this stock cam "setup" ? i hope ill have enough money for a cam soon...

I have plenty of money. That has nothing to do with it. I drive 54 miles daily and am too lazy to stop at the gas station every day. I'm going new car shopping sometime in the near future. Then it's gonna sit in front of the house collecting dust for a few months.

As to how it runs, okay I guess. It's on the stock tune that was fattened up heavily. I spin ***** down low but that cam doesn't do **** up top.

Well, I dynoed 417/384 with the stock heads, cam, and intake on an 02 Z28. I have the 6.0 heads and 90/90 setup now. It feels way torquey down low now compared to before. I think that's more due to the fact that my old heads were lifting off the block. I haven't had it tuned at all or redynoed, but it feels more like the powerband has shifted way down low. Any big flow numbers you might have gotten with those heads aren't going to be obtained with the stock cam. I don't think, however, that they will hurt you whatsoever. Slap them on and get that sucker tuned.
