I always have used this one; http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/compstaticcalc.html Comparing the two the RB Racing figures in a negative number for deck height Enter a negative number if the piston's flat surface sticks up past the top of the cylinder but the "LS1/LS6" calculator takes in a positive number for deck height. This alters the the calculation drastically.

Ya'.... the others wont take a negative decimal on deck height. What is that around -10 thou or so? Thats like a full point difference.

If I'm reading the first two calculators right, they will only read a negative (-) number for deck height (piston above the deck). What they won't do is a (+) number which is "piston below the deck". I too like this calcultor better http://www.rbracing-rsr.com/compstaticcalc.html as reads either way.

That is because most if not all stock LS1/LS6 are out of the hole.

I interpeted that as Deck above the piston (positive decimal). Am I all screwed up that a piston standing proud above the deck would be a negative? The first two if you put a minus it fails. Again, how much out of the hole is it?
