Default Which springs for F13??

I'm going to put in an F13, and wanted to know if the Comp 918's are good enough, or if I need dual springs? Which will last longer? The lift on the F13 is .595/.585, duration is 230/232. Since the F13 power band tops out at 6800, will I need to upgrade the lifters?

I run the Comp 918's. They'll probably last 25-30k. Duals are better if you want to spend the money and may last longer. Lifters are fine stock.

Allan recommended dual springs for me, so I'm going with the PRC duals.

I like the Manleys. I think they are a better quality then the PRCs IMO. You need to run duals dont chance the 918s. Goodluck.

I plan on running the PRC duals as I am more than likely getting this cam along with stage 2.5 5.3 heads.

I'm going to run COMP 921 Duals with my F14.

Just a little more money than the PRCs.

The 918's are working for some with no problems but we recommend that you use a dual spring with the F13, the PRC dual kit is actually cheaper than the 918's and retainers.

Thanks to all. I think I 've decided on duals, hoping I'll get longer wear.

Id personally run duals over 918, unless you really have a reason for running singles (want a lighter valvetrain) and know the risks.

I would say just get whatever gold kit you can get cheapest. Patriot, PRC, TEA...

The manley springs are not polished. How can this be better quality? All of them are made of good material. The PRC springs are top quality for the price.
