For the studs, make sure your bolt holes are clean, run the studs in till they bottom out and make sure they are snug, but don't tighten them. I think they reccomend finger tight -5 ft/lb.s max on the stud. Once installed, set your head on and use the ARP provided lube on the nuts. Tighten in sequence to 25 then 45, then on the last past, 60 ft/lbs. on the larger bolts. Once you done with those, tighten the small studs to 25 ft/lbs. The rockers shouldn't need anything speacial. Put them on like the stockers and tighten to 22 ft/lbs.

ok Im good with the head studs

but for the rockers......do I use the rocker cradle that is a long piece of aluminum? I went to HS web page and did not see this there.....do you know what im talking about.
it looks like a ruler with indentations for the rockers....
but since the HS are going in 2's what do I do....
thanks

You don't use the stock rocker cradle. You just use the pedastals that the HS rockers came with and install them in sets of two.

Before you bolt the heads on, lay one on the motor and stick 2 pushrods in and snug 2 rockers down (on zero lift) and check to see how close they are to the valve cover rail on the pushrod side. Especially the corners are tight sometimes
PM if you any help ever

I have a couple of related questions:

Is there enough room in the engine bay of a C5 to use ARP head studs?
Can ARP head bolts be reused? What is their install proceedure?
