Default 408 and compression ratio

hey guys im posting for a friend of mine since he cant get to a computer right now. but anyway he wanted me to ask this question for you guys. hes building a 408 stroker for his 2001 camaro ss and he bought some mahle pistons that have a -12cc dish in them, and jason from texas speed told him that he should have about 10.6.1 comp. ratio and he just wanted me to ask you guys if you think that sounds right. a friend of ours just bought the ZL402 for his "wifes" car which is a 99 convertible ss and he ordered the high compression ratio version.(11.3 IIRC) and he said that with stock 853 casting heads and a -6cc dish that hes at 10.8(i think) and hes running stock 6.0 head gaskets with the 402. now the head gaskets my friend bought are stock thinkness for a 6.0 from the new vette. but anyway he was just curious as to what you guys think of this. nothing against jason here but he is just making sure of things before he puts the motor together. oh and before i forget hes running 853 heads as well on the 408, thanks guys
