Hey guys i am looking into doing a new shortblock on my car, i was looking around but im not exactly sure what im looking for. I would like to keep my stock heads, and send them out to get ported and polished, i just had the trans completely beefed up, i have pretty much all the bolt ons except a throttle body and an LS6 intake. I want a pretty decent sized cam in the car, i would also love to throw some nitrous, or a turbo or blower on the car in the future. I am not looking into spending 10's of thousands of dollars on a motor, i seen Speed Inc has some nice shortblocks, but what else are some good places? i would like to spend no more the like $4500 on a shortblock total. Also where is a good place to get heads ported and polished, and how much does that usually run?
