Question 918 Springs with 233/239 Cam?

Like the title says. I see alot more advertisement that the 918s are good to .625 lift. If that is so, why not use them? I am more versed in old skool chevys. I'm finding it hard to deal with the fact that I have to pull my heads to change the lifters. Thats gonna suck.

As said. Would it just be a matter of shimming the 918s couple of thousands to make them work? Or is the seat pressure still to low to deal with the higher lift cam? Or am I just all jacked up?

Thanks in advance.

they're only rated to .600, yes they may handle .625 but I'm sure that's a saftey factor Comp set, and I would'nt run them

Search, a rep from comp admitted running the 918s on a G5X4 himself and testing to .620 lift and 7500 rpms.
