I'm on your side Stang about keeping the rpm down. C5R is a 427+ inch (BIG) motor that runs 3 hour endurance races, thats why they run it at 6200. That 's what I usually preach and that's how I drive, but I built this thing forged to go 6500-6600. I run 25 minute regionals. I usually keep it conservative and shift at 6400 unless I am in a close race or a qualifying lap and need the HP. 6200 is good but my motor sounds so sweet from 6-6500. Those CNC heads really pull in the air.
I like the idea that these Morel lifters will gain some HP over GM. That's one that I never expected. I am going to buy them.

Bought the Morels from Thunder, they had them ready to ship. I think that I got their last set. I will let you know how they work.

i used comp r's because i have comp 977 springs mine are at .020 and they are quiet as the stock ones? but i would also go with the morels
