So if he were to put higher ratio rockers on that hotcamed engine, will that have any affect on the Ls6 springs-will they wear out faster, bind anything like that? Just wondering if there is any advantage to using rockers, when you can just get a cam with higher lifts already built in, even though on some of those you must change springs sooner or use stronger ones.

Not sure if he will. I'm dynoing Wednesday, I'll post results. No before though as this is a new motor.

Actually, rockers are more of a budget modification than you may be led to believe, if you consider the effect of not having to install and uninstall the cam. Others may argue to get it to right the first time.
