Has anyone ever lightened up the factory crank or an aftermarket crank? What kind of results can be seen?

I thought Lunati just cam out with new light weight crank.

 

The best results are seen in small engines with 5 or 6 speeds where the sweep rate of the engine is higher compared to a big engine with a 2 or 3 speed.

Places like Bryant, Windberg, Callies, and LA Enterprises will make you a lightweight crank, but you can expect it to take quite a while to get.

 

the Callies Magnum XL series are in the 33-46# range, pretty lightweight for a crank
