How about having one custom ground, you really cant get any better than that. No other off the shelf cam will be ground for your combo! BTW, what size Kooks? Makes a difference if your running 1 3/4 or 1 7/8 or 2" primaries.

I agree, call a sponsor and tell them what your goals and mods are - they will assist you with a custom grind cam or if there is a shelf grind close enough they will recomend that.

I have found HPE and LS1Speed to be very helpful, the HPE guys probably would be better at cam selection but might have a longer turn around time.

i have read through all these pages pt 1 and 2 and i am laughing my *** off. this guy has to be kidding. must be in by this weekend... wormboy or tech goldrust dont have an opinion? F-13 which was recommended by 7 pages worth of backup without a single descent on all sorts of setups, and this guy still cant pick a cam. i didnt have an idea what i wanted, but i am down to an f-13 or a tr224/244 just by reading through this guys posts. will an f13 pass emissions? sorry infiniti, but you love the ****. thanks for posting this though because it made it brutally clear how good an F-13 cam is. i think you should be taking it easy and not doing any fast driving.

There are a bunch in the dyno section, probably for all his choices too.

dude, though the posts can and are at times harsh.....possibly misunderstood. Also, i understand that it can get frustrating and its easy to let the flames fly...

But, If you insist on starting another thread, knowing now that doing so your in open water, i would instead of continuing the problem, i would continue my agenda and forge about the other comments.

Now, (and i dont mind typing....) you seem to have a nice set-up, basically bolt-ons. WIth a nice cam, F13 for example, you'll make good power but with you stock heads and manifold/tb, you'll just be choking it. A cam needs or wants more airflow....quintessentially!!!

Now, wat i would do, after searching and searching and researching...not just here but everywhere!!!! (Im very indecisive!!) I would get a nice heads/cam package or at least a cam with a 90mm setup. Of course, you'll want to get the appropriate valvetrain parts. Than, get the heads. Trust me, you'll want more and more so you'll need to think about you future and possible ultimate goal for this DD of yours. It can get carried away.......

good luck!!!

thankyou, there reason i started a new thread is so that everyone who wasreading wouldnt have to go thru 7 pages to understand where i was at in my decision, heads are in the future so most likely ill be getting a futral cam, but it depends on his stock because its going in this week

What I do not understand is why the moderators let this phoney "dick" guy stay on the site...He does not know his front from his back. He gets knowledgeable people to wast there time answering his questions...Pal you do not know the difference between studs and bolts.

I have found both threads interesting and I enjoy learning from them. But I'd have to say if you're letting your "installer" dictate what cam is going to be installed, then you're wasting time even posting about this stuff.

I the last thread you said you like the F13 only wanted to go a little bigger. You also thought the "S" cam might be too much. So, get a cam half way between those 2 and buy it already.
F13-----230° .595" / 232° .585" 112° LSA
"S" cam-238° .605" / 242° .610" 115° LSA

Go between those with a 234° .600" / 238° .605" 114° LSA.
**After reviewing your selections in your first post get the TSP 233/237**

Man I can't believe you just said that. Just because people know he makes great cams. I can tell you right now that you won't find a cam as good as the ones that he makes (size for size). It's not nutt hugging it is called answering your question. At first I wanted to help and I recommended you the F-13. I don't understand your point now. You won't consider the F-13 because there are too many nutt huggers? So that's why the F-14 is on your list right I guess your weekend is over that you HAD to have the cam by. I have no idea what your purpose is now. You have asked and recieved now that you have been told by the majority to get the F-13 you now go and ask again Are you actually going to install a cam? Or are you just cluttering the board with stupid questions.

I don't know why you would want something bigger than the F-13 when it makes more power than most all of the slightly bigger cams.

infiniti racing,

The members of this board are trying to be helpful and have given you pages of good insight, but when you lash back at those members and start calling names, the TECH of the thread goes downhill.

Keep up the crappy attitude and you will lose allies and priviledges on this board.

This thread is locked.
