can someone help me

i have a stock 02 lq9 with stage 2 5.3 heads i want to know if i will have to notch the pistons with a 245/254 duration 647/647 lift 113 lsa 109icl thunder racing cam

I think as a general rule of thumb anything over .600 lift you will need to notch your pistons

I don't know for sure, But I would have to say hell yes. Thats pretty big. Are the heads milled and what size gaskets are you using?
