Default Initial results on cheaTR cam dyno

Scoob is at the Dyno right now, called and first pull was 399/370! Awesome considering we havent wideband tuned his car yet
35th SS ULE, Flowtech Headers, Y and Magnaflow Catback, Lid, 90/90mm Fast /Nick Williams combo, M6, CheaTR Cam, PRC Dual Springs, TR Pushrods, initial tuning by me. Best track to date 12.5 on first drag radial runs. All other have been on street tires. Happy for him.

Great cam-only power for such mild duration numbers. Anxious to see if you guys pick anything else after you do some WB dyno tuning. Props to you guys!

Well, second run knocked the 400rwhp mark! Great Job Scott. Now, like Patrick said, lets get your bung welded in and some WB logging.

BTW, this was on a Dynojet, no tricks, Hawaii's beautiful average 85*, 85% humidity (or higher). hopefully they get the DA for curiousity sakes.

The springs were changed to PRC's, 918's ended up being the problem

Yeah, 918's not to cool with the cam, not sure why, but oh well. He eclipsed 401.3rwhp!

how much of a gain did he make with just the cam? is the cam a good turbo or supercharger cam?

First, thanks to CAT3 and DREW

ah, didnt see this before i made my post, thanks guys, im really happy. I have sustained serious damage to my home in Gulfport, Mississippi so the modding will have to be delayed for a bit...but 400 RWHP @ 6400 RPMS is great. I think i can get a 12.3X out of it as is with a better launch. I may add the ASP pulley this month for a little help.

Sure Charlie, im down for that. And yes, the PRC springs solved my problems.TR said this cam is good choice but not optimum for Forced Induction. It would be a good choice if you wanted to run N/A now, then add FI later down the road without swapping cams.
