6500, Good redline for 918's?
6500, Good redline for 918's? Is 6500 a safe good rev limit for comp 918's? i've hit it a several times due to loss of traction going into 2nd, but i do let off, im currently looking into tires to help out, but is it safe to hit the limiter at 6500? Im not so much worried about the springs but the rod bolts

Not true. The stock rev limiter on my GTO is 6200, i get far better results shifting at or slightly below 6000 rpm.
No need to raise the revlimiter on a stock cam/valvetrain.
