If it's a daily driver and you rarely go to the track, I wouldn't be too concerned on which clutch you have. The ls6 clutch will hold plenty of power. It's the clutch riding takeoffs and clutch slippin shifts that no clutch likes.
The cams I suggested will both be smooth as stock at an 800 - 850 rpm idle. Probably any cam that you look at with overlap at .05 of -8* to -10* will be completely like stock in terms of idle and low rpm operation. I'd suggest that -4 and -6 overlap can be easily tuned to idle like stock at 850 rpm and behave like stock from 1100 rpm up too; the only difference is that you will be able to hear the beat enough to know a cam is there.
FWIW, I had a 218/218 114 on XE lobes and you had to listen very carefully to detect an aftermarket cam. That was with an 850 idle and no changes to the VE table (pre-LS1 Edit).
