Default Cams and stock valve train?

I know it would help to get some valve train so i can rev it out alittle higher (if im making the power up there); but for now can i get just a cam...keep the stock red line....and once i get more cash get heads (with valve train) so i can rev higher? TIA

Sorry, all decent cams will require that you change the springs so you don't break them. It's not an issue of revving high, it's that the springs will bind and break with anything other than a stock cam.

Cam kits run roughly 700+/-?

alteast invest in some hardened pushrods only about $110 , and really consider the better springs. if u cant afford it wait, no sense in doing it more than once.
