solid roller, bad *** heads, big cam, lots of rpm (which will be beneficial for you anyways), injectors and some sort of sheet metal or carb manifold would be nessecary also...well, not nessecary but beneficial.

I am running AFR 205's milled .030", Comp XE-R 224/228 .581"/.588" 112LSA zero advance, SVO 30lb/hr injectors, LSX90/NW90, Kooks headers and cats, Borla Stingers, through 4:10's and just dyno'd 440rwhp. That comes to ~517 crank hp. That is a small cam and the car is a great street setup. I would suspect that with the right setup as outlined above you could easily pull 600 crank hp on pump gas, well, 104 octane pump gas. There is a forged 346 LS6 twin turbo vette making 1050rwhp, and there are some f-bodies making that and more.

Its gona inclue bad *** heads, a nice solid roller set up, and a sheet metal intake to let it breathe up top.

If you go the F.I. route you'll make 500RWHP w/no problems at all.

you dont need a sheetmetal intake or solid roller. LGM, Cartek, TR, TTP, Rapid have all made 500+rwhp with 346-348's. you'll need a good set of heads, i recommend a set of AFR 225's, some compression, a cam to match your setup, 90/90, and the rest of the bolt ons, plus a really good tune.

however i'd opt for more cubes, either 383 with the ls1 block or go with an ls2 and do a 402.

I seriously doubt that anyone makes valve covers like this. They would have to be HUGE to contain the coils and then you would have to deal with oil on the coils, leaks where the wires penetrated the covers, and possible fires.

Some people relocate the coils to a fenderwell or firewall and run longer wires in order to clean up the engine compartment. It does look better but I don't think the extra wire length and resultant resistance increase is worth it.
